The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team has added an opponent to their spring exhibition training schedule. The Owls will face Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids on Friday at 6 p.m. at the FAU soccer complex.

Colorado is in the middle of a 13 day spring training schedule in Fort Lauderdale. The Rapids will begin their season on March 29 against the Los Angeles Galaxy. They finished 9-13-8 last season.

This is the third spring training exhibition opponent for the Owls. FAU defeated the St. Kitts National Team 3-0 on February 4, and then lost to Danish first division opponent Veijle FC last week 3-1. The Owls are preparing to defend their 2007 Atlantic Soccer Conference championship.

Tickets for Friday night's contest are $3 and will be available at the gate on game day.
