BOCA RATON, FL - Fresh off the program's first Atlantic Soccer Conference Championship, the Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will be recognized this weekend for their outstanding accomplishments of 2007.

The past season's success has FAU aiming to reach new heights in the fall of 2008. The student-athletes have returned from the semester break fit and focused on continued improvement. Under the direction of longtime head coach Kos Donev, the Owl's spring training schedule is currently underway, which includes a series of exhibition matches.

The Owls will face Veijle FC, a first division team from Denmark at 4 p.m. Friday, February 8th at the Las Palmas Hotel - Soccer Training Complex in Sunrise.
