AKRON, OHIO-Competing in their first Mid-American Conference Tournament, the Florida Atlantic University (5-13-1, 1-4-1 MAC) men's soccer team was beat 6-0 by the University of Buffalo (12-3-4, 4-1-2). The loss knocked the Owls out of the MAC tournament, ended the 2008 season and was the last match for five FAU seniors.

The Bulls entered the tournament as the third seed, were receiving votes in the national polls and will move on to the semi-final game tomorrow against second seed Northern Illinois (9-5-4, 5-1-1). FAU was the sixth seed for the tournament.
