FORT MYERS, FL - The Florida Atlantic men's soccer team (5-12-1) ended the 2008 regular season with a loss to Florida Gulf Coast University by a score of 2-0.

The Owls were able to create more shots on goal during the match, however FGCU (6-10-2) was able to capitalize on their shots with goals in the 30 and 58 minutes. FAU senior Shire Standnes and junior Jordan Kelly both took two shots on goal. The Eagle's win comes during a streak that has FGCU posting a 3-0-1 record over the past four matches.
