Florida Atlantic University was defeated 1-0 in overtime Friday afternoon in semifinal action at the Trans America Athletic Conference Championship in Buies Creek, NC. Mercer's Neil Zarac scored 1:08 into the first overtime period on a header off of a corner kick.

FAU outshot Mercer in the match, 14-12. Zarac accounted for seven of the Bears' shots, connecting on his final attempt when teammate Maxwell Rooke fired the corner kick.

The loss ends FAU's season at 10-7-1.
