FAU Men's Soccer Match Ends With Tie

The Florida Atlantic men's soccer team (2-9-1, 0-4-1) tied Mid American Conference (MAC) opponent Hartwick College in a 0-0 decision.

Hartwick College (4-3-5, 1-0-1) and FAU changed momentum several times through 90 minutes of defense-dominated play. With the score knotted at 0-0, the match entered a 10 minute overtime period. Freshman Darnell King just missed scoring on two one-on-one shots against Hawks' goalkeeper Jeremy Vuolo, with the second over the cross bar. The match ended after a second overtime period with a 0-0 score.

FAU will visit Duke University in Durham, North Carolina on October 14 for its' next match. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Following the Duke match, FAU will play its' last home match of the season against MAC opponent Bowling Green State University.
