Final Stats

BOCA RATON, FL  - The Florida Atlantic men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Stetson University on Sunday afternoon at FAU Soccer Field. The Owls (2-2-0) were shutout for the second time this season and we unable to capitalize despite six shots on goal.

Stetson (3-0-0) received an 18th minute goal from senior forward Griffin Gilstrap off a beautiful assist from Fredrik Brustad. The Hatters finished their South Florida road trip 2-0 after defeating Florida International University 3-2 on Friday night in Miami.

The Owls received another solid performance from freshman goalkeeper Jeremy Crumpton who tallied three saves in the loss. Rocco Pecora led FAU offensively with two shots.

Florida Atlantic will be back in action on Friday at 5 p.m. when they travel to Orlando, Florida to take on Manhattan in the UCF Fall Classic.
