Denver, CO - Florida Atlantic University's men's soccer team was hoping to get off to a strong start on their six game road trip.

They played Denver to a 0-0 tie for 54 minutes, but the Pioneers poured it on in the final 36 minutes, scoring five times.

Florida Atlantic was able to muster just one shot on goal, and attempted just four.

GK Anders Granstad did his best to keep FAU in the game, making four stops in the first half. He had eight for the game. The Owls' lone shot came off a strike by Robert Bloom.

The loss drops the Owls to 1-3. They will travel to Colorado Springs, CO on Sunday to play the Air Force Academy at 1 p.m.
