Golf Tryout Information

Anyone who has completed the below requirements to try out must report to the Founders Room at Tom Oxley Center Wednesday, January 7th at 4:30 pm.

1. You must e-mail head coach Angelo Sands by November 25th if you want to tryout. Please Include your name, mailing address and phone number.

2. You must e-mail Coach Sands your NCAA Clearinghouse registration # by January 2, 2009.

3. You must have completed orientation.

4. You must have a minimum of 12 credit hours for the Spring semester. Class must be scheduled:

                         *Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday in the morning

                          *Tuesday and Thursday at anytime

5. Any incoming student-athlete contacting me must send me a golf and academic resume. From that resume, I will decide if you can walk-on.

6. After contacting Coach Sands you must contact Jared Plummer (JPUMME7@fau.edu) for an incoming physical form. This form must be completed and sent to me by January 2, 2009.

All rules must be met before you can tryout, including the physical form from the FAU training staff. You will also need to bring a health insurance card with you to tryouts. A health insurance card must always be in your possession. If you ever need to see a doctor or visit a hospital, the first question you will be asked is proof of hospitalization and you must then show your card.
