Deland, FL - After day one of two at the Stetson/ CFSC Invitational the Florida Atlantic University men's golf team is in third place after two rounds. FAU (303, 294- 597) is represented by Michael Baskovich (Tied for 6), Kelly McHugh (T12), Ben Silverman (T 16), Sterling Searcy Jr. (T 27), and Billy Bowling (T32).

The women's team is also competing in Deland, FL in the Holiday Inn Express/Hatter Invitational. Playing without Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn, the Owl's top golfer at two of three tournaments this season, FAU (315, 317- 632) is currently in fifth place after two rounds. Elisabetta Bertini (T10), Karine Bolme (T14), Kimberly D'Andrea (19), Jennifer Norton (T25) and Gina Larsen (T33) have played well enough to be in contention for a top three finish when play resumes.

Both the men's and women's team will finish their respective tournament play tomorrow.
