Owls Complete Mission Inn Classic

Howie-in-the-Hills, FL -- Florida Atlantic University completed the Mission Inn Collegiate Classic on Sunday afternoon. The Owls finished the three-round event with a total of 899 (294-301-304) strokes.

Freshman Andrew Storm posted a mark of 74 in all three rounds, carding in 222 strokes for the tournament. Fellow Freshman Mark Washburn matched his total of 222 (72-71-79) as they tied in 46th place.

Michael Berger tallied 227 (73-80-74) strokes over three rounds and finished in a tie for 63rd place. Junior Adam Kolloff shot a total of 228 (74-76-78), ending in 65th place.

As a team the Owls concluded the event in 17th place. Jacksonville State University finished the par-71, 6,814 yard course with a team total of 845 (286-287-272) to earn first place honors.

Julian Colmenares of Jacksonville State shot an eight-under 205 (69-71-65) to earn medalist honors.

The Owls will tee-off again on October 23 at the NSU Fall Invitational.
