Owls Open Season at Reynolds Plantation Classic

Sept. 19, 2005

Greensboro, GA -- Sophomore Michael Berger shot an even par 72 to lead Florida Atlantic University during the opening round of the Reynolds Plantation Classic.

Berger shot a 34 on the front-nine and to go along with a 38 on the back half of the course. He is just three shots back of the leader, Spencer Provow of Middle Tennessee State University.

Freshman Andrew Storm shot a 74 during the first round. The Nebraska native posted a mark of 37 on both the front and back nine.

As a team the Owls tallied 303 strokes in their first tournament of the season.

Florida Atlantic University will tee off tomorrow afternoon in round two of the Reynolds Plantation Classic.
