Florida Atlantic University finished 9th at the 2001 TAAC Championship in Dadeville, AL. The Owls shot a final round 308 Wednesday as Josh Kaplan led FAU with a two-over par 74. Kaplan's round was enough to pace FAU overall with a 227 in three rounds. Matt Anderson finished second for the Owls with a 228.

FAU finished 11 strokes behind 8th-place Mercer while Georgia State won the tournament by 41 strokes over Central Florida.
