DEER ISLAND, FL - Florida Atlantic University shot a final round of 312 Wednesday at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship in Deer Island, FL. The Owls finished eighth with a 904 at the par-72, 6,670-yard Deer Island Golf Club, one stroke ahead of Troy State and eight strokes behind Mercer.

Matt Anderson led the Owls' effort at the 54-hole event, finishing tied for 11th overall and one-over-par 217 in all. Anderson went two-over on Wednesday, which followed round of 74 and 69 on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

FAU's Scott Kennedy finished 24th with a 223 while Michael Bailey posted an overall total of 232.
