Orlando, FL - Florida Atlantic University men's golf completed the 2006-2007 campaign at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Wednesday in Orlando, FL.

Billy Bowling (77, 77, 75 -229) had a two stroke improvement during the final round and ended the tournament with an Owl best tie for 36th place. Michael Berger (81, 75, 75 -231) had his second straight three-over par round on Wednesday, concluding his season with a tie for 43rd. Derren Garber (76, 77, 78 -231) also finished in a tie for 43rd place at the Par 72, 6,906 yard Magnolia Golf Course at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex. Andrew Storm (78, 81, 79 -238) and Adam Kolloff (80, 86, 78 -244) round out the Owl field with a tie for 54th and 59th place.

FAU (311, 310, 306 -927) shot their best round on Wednesday. They finished in 12th place out of a 12 competitors. Louisiana-Lafayette University (297, 290, 282 -869) was the team winner, needing a playoff round to bypass Middle Tennessee State University. MTSU's Craig Smith (76, 69, 66 -211) was the individual winner, shooting an impressive 6-under par in the final round.
