The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team returned to action for the first time in almost two weeks and defeated Canisius College by 17 strokes at Ocean Breeze Golf Course. Amit Odaiyar and Phillip Theiss led the Owls with scores of 72 on the par-72, 6,900 yard course.

Anthony Haderer and Michael Berger placed third and fourth with scores of 74 and 75, respectively. Billy Bowling rounded out FAU's team score with a 79. Theiss and Kelly McHugh (78) both played independently, while Will Cottle withdrew with an injury.

The Owls will travel to Murfreesboro, TN for a two-day tournament starting March 31.
