West Palm Beach, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team held a one-round competition with Northwestern on Monday in West Palm Beach, FL.

FAU ( 303) was narrowly defeated by Northwestern ( 291) at the Breakers West Reece Jones Golf Course. Anthony Haderer (71) led FAU shooting 1-under par at the par 72 course. Andrew Storm (76) and Adam Kolloff (77) shot 4-over and 5-over par respectively. Will Cottle (79), Billy Bowling (81), Derren Garber (81), and Scott MacDougall (91) round out the Owls field of competitors.

David Merkow (72) was Northwestern's top scorer, shooting an even par. The Wildcats had three golfers, Kyle Moore (73), Jon Bowers (73), and Andy Dekenster (73), shoot 1-over par.

The Owls will resume tournament play on April 2nd at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate in Greenville, NC.
