Men's Golf Finishes 9th

March 16, 2002

JENSEN BEACH, FL - Florida Atlantic finished tied for ninth at the Treasure Coast World Trade Center Heroes Classic in Jensen Beach, FL. The Owls shot a two-round total of 620 which tied them with UNC-Greensboro and Seton Hall. The tournament took place at the 6,547 yard, par-72 PGA Country Club.

Matt Anderson led the FAU contingent with a four-over par 149 which tied him for 12th individually.

St. John's University, which hosted the event, took first place honors with a total of 578. FAU finished three strokes behind eighth-place Radford and 10 back of seventh-place Notre Dame.
