FAU Men's Golf Tied for Second after Day One

BOCA RATON, FL- The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team is tied for second place with Bethune-Cookman University (276) after day one at the Butler North/South Collegiate Invitational held at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club (6,600 Yards/PAR 70). Florida Gulf Coast University leads the tournament and has several golfers in the top 10.

Kelly McHugh leads the Owls with 67 strokes for the first round. One stroke behind McHugh is Justin Thompson. Ben Silverman (70), Sterling Searcy Jr. (71), and Will Cottle (74) are the other FAU competitors.

FAU will tee-off for the second round of the tournament tomorrow morning.
