After rain on Thursday suspended play at the Fort Lauderdale Spring Classic, the Florida Atlantic University men's golf team completed round one and round two on Friday and took third at the Grande Oaks Country Club in Davie, FL. The Owls were led by Amit Odaiyar who shot a 137.

The University of Detroit won the event with a team score of 567. FAU had two teams enter the tournament. The FAU `blue' team posted a score of 583 to finish third and the `red' team finished with a 616 for fifth place.

Odaiyar shot a 69 in round one and a 68 in round two for a 137.
