Owls Struggle on Day Two at USF Invitational

Tampa, FL --- Day two of the Dick Wittoff USF Invitational didn't fair as well for the Florida Atlantic University men's golf team as it tallied 314 total strokes to fall back into 16th place.

Michael Berger posted second round -77 and rest in 27th place with 150 total strokes. Freshman Adam Kolloff also notched a six over par-77 on day two and is tied for 50th place with a 153 strokes.

The par-71, 6,830 yard course know as the "The Claw" challenged the Owls in round two. After recording an opening round-75, Mike McMillan added four strokes to his total by post a 79 during second round play. Kevin Clark tallied 81 strokes and Andrew Storm carded in 86 strokes after scoring a 75 on day one.

The University Of New Orleans currently holds the top spot as it recorded 290 strokes on the day to go along with 291 on Friday for total of 581 strokes. Jason Kuperman of New Orleans carded in a three under-68 on day two and combined that with his opening round mark of -73 to be atop the leader board going into the final round.

The Dick Wittoff USF Invitational will conclude tomorrow with final round action.
