BOCA RATON, FL- The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team (311) started their spring break tournament play with a three-stroke victory over the University of Dayton (314) at Ocean Breeze Country Club (6,885 yards/Par 72) in Boca Raton.

The one-round dual was won by freshman Michael Baskovich (73), who was playing as an individual. Kelly McHugh (74) tied Justin Thompson as the top finisher for FAU's scoring five, as they tied for second. Seven FAU players or individuals were in the top 10.

FAU will start a two day dual with St. John's University tomorrow, March 3 at Indian Hills Country Club in Fort Pierce. Following the St. John's tournament, FAU will play Niagara University at Ocean Breeze C.C. on Thursday, March 5.
