Men's Golf Opens Spring Competition a Shot Out of Second Place

Charleston, SC -The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team shot a 592 in the first two rounds of the Charleston Southern Spring Invitational Monday, finishing the first day of spring competition a shot out of second place.

Transfer Kevin Clark came away from his first day of competition as an Owl with the team's best score, shooting a 145 (74 and 71). Sophomore Tommy Suri (71/75) and freshman Joong Jo (77/69) each contributed with a 146.

The final round of the two-round event will be played on Tuesday.
