Clayton And Souverain Were Under Center

Nov. 8, 2005

BOCA RATON, FL -- With quarterback Danny Embick out for the season, Sean Clayton and McKinson Souverain worked with the first-team offense during Monday's practice.

Clayton, a transfer from Michigan State, was very efficient completing short to intermediate passes during drills. Souverain ended practice by connecting with Frantz Simeon on a 60-yard TD strike.

Safety Greg Joseph had the hit-of-the-day as he speared an FAU receiver going over the middle during scout team drills.

Florida Atlantic University will host North Texas on Saturday, 1 p.m., at Dolphins Stadium. Tickets have been made available through the generosity of ADT Services, Inc, Applied Cards, Florida Crystals, Doug Doxey and the Beacon Group. They can be requested or picked up in advance by calling the athletic ticket office at 1-866-FAU-OWLS.

Clayton and Souverain, along with the rest of the Owls will continue their preparation for the Mean Green tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.
