![]() Florida Atlantic University Announces Participation In NCAA Football's Take A Kid To The Game Program Presented By Coca-Cola
Oct. 28, 2002 Area youngsters will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere when Florida Atlantic University hosts NCAAŽ Football's annual Take a Kid to the GameŽ (TAKG) program presented by Coca-Cola, November 9, 2002. Kids, ages 13 and under, will receive a ticket for $1 with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket, to watch the Fighting Owls take on Morris Brown at Pro Player Stadium. FAU is one of more than 170 schools across the nation that are participating in this campaign focused on attracting more of the nation's youths to college games. The Take a Kid to the GameŽ program is entering it eight year in the promotion of NCAAŽ Athletics. Tickets for this special game, which become available the week-of-the-game, can be purchased at the FAU ticket office or by calling (866) FAU-OWLS. The Take a Kid to the GameŽ program is one of the national promotions of NCAAŽ Football, the marketing arm of college football. NCAAŽ Football represents a coalition of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the American Football Coaches Association, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and the Conference Commissioners Association.
