2008 Pre-Season Practice Schedule

The Florida Atlantic University football team reports to preseason camp on Monday ahead of the start of full squad workouts. The Owls begin practice on Wednesday, August 6th from 3:30-6 p.m. outside the Tom Oxley Athletic Center. They will then practice daily at the same time with the first full pad practice taking place on Saturday, August 9th.

The first three-a-day practices will be held on Monday, August 11th. Practices on that day will go from 8-9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m.-noon, and 4:30-6 p.m. FAU will hold three-a-days on Wednesday and Friday of that week and Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the following week.

The Owls will scrimmage three times during the pre-season. The first scrimmage will take place Saturday, August 16th as part of Fan Fest from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the FAU Track and Field complex. The last two scrimmages will take place on Wednesday, August 20th and Saturday, August 23rd outside of the Oxley Center just before the Owls begin preparation for the opening game of the season on August 30th at the University of Texas.
