Football's Head Trainer, Brian Anderson Receives State Wide Award

BOCA RATON, FL - The Athletic Trainers Association of Florida is proud to announce the winner of the 2003 College / University Athletic Trainer of the Year award.

Brian Anderson, a member of the Athletic Trainers Association of Florida (ATAF) was the recipient of this award. The ceremony was held recently during the 2003 Annual Clinical Symposium held at the Orlando Hilton, Altamonte Springs.

ATAF is an organization composed of Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC). ATAF currently has over 1,500 members covering virtually every aspect of sports medicine, including professional, collegiate and high schools sports. You can also find ATAF members working in academics, research settings, industrial settings, doctor's offices and physical therapy clinics.

Brian Anderson

Brian is the Head Football Athletic Trainer at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. For the Athletic Trainers Association of Florida, he serves as a Southern Region Representative; is a member of the College & University Student Athletic Trainers Committee; and is the College & University Athletic Trainer Meeting Coordinator. He has organized nine national college and university sports medicine meetings, and made numerous presentations to student athletic training organization associations. Brian has also consulted with Broward and Palm Beach Counties in regards to support for high school athletic training programs.
