Boca Raton - Former Florida Atlantic University football players Chris Laskowski and Jared Allen have left for the 2005 Hula Bowl where they will showcase their talents before NFL scouts this week. This Saturday's Hula Bowl will provide the FAU duo an opportunity to showcase the talents they have honed during the last five years under coach Howard Schnellenberger.

Owl fans will have an opportunity to watch the game at a special Hula Bowl party. The FAU Athletic Department has partnered with Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union to host the party at The Neighborhood Sports Bar from 6 -8 pm. The evening will include a complimentary buffet dinner with drink specials. Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union will also provide door prizes, including Miami Heat tickets, throughout the evening. The game will be broadcast on ESPN at 7 pm

Join the Owls as Allen and Laskowski make a return trip to Hawaii and attempt to spotlight a program that gained national attention with its upset victory over the Warriors, last September.
