STORRS, Conn. - Terry Caulley ran for 105 yards and three touchdowns as Connecticut defeated Division I-AA Florida Atlantic 61-14 Saturday.

The Huskies (3-6) snapped a four-game losing streak by scoring the most points in the history of 50-year-old Memorial Stadium. This is the final year for the 16,000-seat stadium. UConn moves into the new 40,000-seat Rentschler Field in East Hartford next season.

Caulley, a freshman tailback, had scoring runs of 33, 3 and 28 yards in the first half and sat out the second half.

Florida Atlantic (0-8) gained just 164 total yards, compared with 496 for the Huskies.

UConn quarterback Dan Orlovsky threw for three scores on 13-of-19 passing for 218 yards. He hit receivers Shaun Feldeisen, Tim Lassen and Brandon Young for scores of 18, 4 and 5 yards.

UConn also got scores from reserve quarterback Jermell Williams, who ran it in from 1 yard out and linebacker Razul Wallace with a 31-yard interception return.

The Owls finally scored midway through the third quarter against the UConn reserves when Garrett Jahn hit Matt Prudenti for a 22-yard touchdown pass. Jahn hooked up with Thomas Parker five minutes later for an 11-yard TD pass.

Jahn, the Owls' reserve quarterback, completed 6 of 12 passes for 119 yards and was intercepted once. Starter Jared Allen threw for 57 yards on 7-of-13 passing.
