At FAU
Joined Florida Atlantic University's staff in the spring of 2003, and began working with one of the more veteran-loaded positions on the squad. During his first season with the Owls he was forced to make transitions due to injuries. However, the defensive line was responsible for 158 total tackles. His second season was more of the

same. The line tallied 146 tackles and was tweaked throughout the season. Rasheed worked with a very young line in 2005, and often times the line faced off against a much bigger and stronger offensive opponent. This paid off in 2006, when the line was faced with a similar situation by recording 197 total tackles and appling more pressure on opposing quarterbacks than ever before. Both Jervonte Jackson and Josh Pinnick were recognized among the Sun Belt's best, while Robert St. Clair continued to use his speed to force match up problems.
