Motor City Bowl: Took advantage of bonus playing time to finish the game third on the team with seven tackles.
2008: Played in every game both on defense and special teams...possibly the biggest play of his sophomore season and for the entire team came on an-onside kick that Ted Czepiga forced FIU to bobble and Austin Jensen recovered the ball which set up an FAU score and eventual 57-50 overtime victory sending FAU to the Motor City Bowl...also credited with a blocked extra point attempt versus North Texas which Darrien Thomas picked up and returned for a score...defensively, recorded 24 tackles on the year, including 15 solo...season high was seven tackles versus Central Michigan in the Motor City Bowl...prior to that he recorded four tackles versus Troy, 3 solo, and four versus North Texas...recorded a tackle in nine of the 13 games played.
New Orleans Bowl: Instrumental part of the squad's special teams in the program's first bowl game and bowl victory.
2007: Played as a true freshman and had an immediate impact with special teams' play against Oklahoma State with three tackles, all on special teams...proved to be his most productive game...recovered a fumble versus Minnesota...also recorded multiple tackles against Florida International...recovered a blocked kick against Lafayette and Memphis...credited with a blocked field goal against Monroe in the second overtime...also credited with a 20-yard kick return at Florida.
High School: Played for Joe Kinnan at Manatee High School, where he was first-team All-State (5A) as a junior...as a senior, he recorded 100 tackles, 74 were solo, 7.5 were sacks...for his prep efforts, he earned first-team All-State (5A), was the Bradenton Herald Defensive Player of the Year, Sarasota Herald Tribune Co-Defensive Player of the Year and the Channel 47 (St. Petersburg) Defensive Player of the Year...played in the Pal Bowl All-Star Game and the Florida North versus South All-Star Game.
