Motor City Bowl: Had three receptions for 27 yards including a long of 14.

2008: Ran a tight race with Grant for the starting tight end spot...expected to use height and deceptive speed to his advantage...held the FAU record for the longest touchdown run from scrimmage (68 versus FIU in 2007)....recorded his first collegiate TD reception in his home state against Texas...followed up game one with a strong performance in game two...recorded three receptions for 57 yards against UAB...hauled in a 71-yard pass at Michigan State...led the team with 44 yards at Middle Tennessee...had four catches, a career high, for 69 yards versus Troy... first catch at WKU was a 14-yard reception on a 1-15...final catch at WKU was a 21-yard grab on second and eight...four of the eight passes Rusty Smith threw in the closing drive in the ULM game were to Housler...his receptions accounted for 39 of the team's 72-yard, game-winning drive...had two touchdowns versus ULL...scored just prior to the half against ASU to even the game at 14.

New Orleans Bowl: Recorded a rush attempt and two tackles in the Owls' victory over Memphis.

2007: Played in every game and proved to be a utility weapon...split time on special teams...had three carries for a combined 83 yards and five receptions...ran for 68 yards at FIU to set an FAU single-game record for longest rush and a score...longest reception was a 21-yard catch at Oklahoma State.

2006: One of five to play in 2006 as a true freshman...injuries hit the tight ends hard in preseason, which opened the door for him to take advantage of the opportunity...played in 11 games on the season, missing the final game due to injury...first reception came late in the season with a 14-yard reception against Troy...ended the year with two receptions for a total of 16 yards...play and development was praised by Schnellenberger during the season.

High School: Played for Jim Rackley at Judson High School, where he averaged 16.5 yards per catch and was credited with eight TDs...two-sport athlete (football and track)...had a long jump of 22' and a pole vault of 15'8.
