High School: Played for Tim Tharp at Palm Beach Gardens High School where he earned Palm Beach County's Co-Defensive Player of the Year as voted upon by the Palm Beach Post and was the Sun-Sentinel Defensive Player of the Year...two-year All-Conference selection as well as All-Area by the Palm Beach Post...First-Team 6A All-State honoree...as a senior tallied 65 tackles, one sack, four interceptions, recovered four fumbles and scored two touchdowns...played in the Outback All-Star game and received All-State honors...also considered Delaware, Colorado State, Illinois State, and UMass.
