At FAU
Joe Corozza is in his second season as an assistant coach at FAU, primarily working with the tight ends, but is in his seventh season with the program. As a graduate assistant in 2005, Corozza began working with the tight ends, a group that was looking for an identity following graduation and injuries. At season's end, the tight ends accounted for more than 25% of the team's reception yards and nearly 16% of the team's touchdowns. Preseason hit the tight ends hard with several season-ending injuries. Youth prevailed, however injuries, also hit the emerging freshmen as the season progressed. Three players were among the game's rotation and six used the spring to vie for playing time in the fall. Corozza came to FAU in the fall of 2001 as a volunteer and as a member of the inaugural staff. By the end of spring, he was hired as the strength and conditioning coach for the football program.

As an intern, he was responsible for the spring strength and conditioning program, among other duties, including assisting the defensive staff with opponent scouting reports, opponent offensive film breakdown, FAU defensive film cutups, assisting with defensive game-planning, and booth coaching.

J.P. Taravella High School
He served as J.P. Taravella High School's assistant football coach from 1996 to '98, and was the varsity's defensive coordinator and defensive line coach in 1997. While at Taravella, he also served as the team's strength and conditioning coach.

Cooper City High School
Prior to J.P. Taravella, he served as Cooper City High School's assistant football coach from 1994 to '96. At Cooper City, Corozza was responsible for the defensive line as well as strength and conditioning.

Certifications
Corozza is certified as a health and fitness instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine and as a strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
