Question from Adam
Hey Coach,
I once attended an FAU basketball game that kicked off with darkness and a
spotlight introduced the FAU basketball players one by one.
I thought it was a really cool, semi-theatric effect but for some reason I
never got to see it again.
Is there any way we could do that again for the first game of this season...
or even better, for all of the games? I'd love to see it again; it makes us
seem like a big deal and surely impresses new visitors to the Burrow.
Just a thought!
Response from Head Coach Rex Walters
Adam,
Thank you for your email and comments. If I recall correctly, we do the spotlight for our night games. Turning off the lights for the day games did not have the same effect because of the sunlight shining through the windows at the top of the Arena. We plan on having a lot of night games this season so you will get to see the Lights Go Out again! Thanks for the support and I look forward to seeing you at the games.
