Coach Green's Responses
Question from Rick Millett:I saw FAU play North Carolina State a few years ago and happened to see FAU play Campbell on TV not very long ago. There are a few FAU people here in North Carolina. Are there any plans to play in North Carolina in the coming years?

A:Our schedule for next year is pretty much complete. Unfortunately, we are only travelling to North Carolina to play Campbell University next year. We will consider your request in our 2001-2002 season.

Question from Jared Bordin:What do you think of the fan support this season. I am part of the group that sits in between both benches and behind the scorers table and yells. What do you think of our group? Can you hear us or do you block us out?

A:We hear you loud and clear. We appreciate your loyal support and we assure you that the best is yet to come. GO OWLS!!!

Question from Les Santiso:Do you feel your recruiting abilities are hampered by what going on with the football program, even though we know that some athletes might come to the school to participate in both. Already I have seen an improvement over last years team. How reasonable is it to think that one year very soon we can win the TAAC? Thank you and good luck.

A:I feel the football program will bring a lot more visibility to our school and basketball program. I'm very confident that next year we will be much more competitive in conference play.

Question from Jared Bordin:I was wondering if the team has considered doing what other college basketball teams have done when the team scores a certain amount of points and wins, everyone in attendace receives free pizza. Do you think that this would help bring people to the game?

A:That's a very good idea and I will share this suggestion with our marketing department.
