Men's Basketball Prepares for Belmont

BOCA RATON, FL -- Florida Atlantic University concludes its two-game homestand Saturday night when it hosts Belmont University. Game time is scheduled for 7:00pm at FAU Gymnasium in Boca Raton.

FAU enters the game 5-15 overall and 1-7 in the A-Sun. Belmont comes in 11-9 overall and 6-2 in the A-Sun.

FAU is coming off a 73-53 loss to Samford on Thursday at home. Earnest Crumbley leads the Owls with 16.7 points per game while Jeff Cowans is chipping in 13.7. Chris Thomas led the Owls with 18 points in the Samford game.

Belmont brings in a trio of point producers led by Adam Mark, who is leading the team with 16.5 points per game. Adam Sonn is averaging 14.9 while Steve Drabyn is averaging 13.1 The Bruins have won eight of their last 10 with their only losses coming in overtime by a combined six points.

FAU leads the all-time series 2-0, having won both games last year by a combined five points.

Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and those 18 years and younger.

The game will be broadcast on FAU's student station, WOWL 91.7-FM.
