Question from Patricia Poliquin: The men's basketball team seems to have risen to another level this year. Do you think that it is because of the new coaches you added to your staff this year and if so, what have each of them added to the team?

A: First, I would have to say that one year does make a difference in the development of our players. Our freshmen from last year are now sophomores. They worked extremely hard over the summer to improve their skills. Next, I would have to say the addition of Coach Wade and Coach Cooper has been a major help in the success of our team this year.

Question from Mr. Slater: What is your ideal point guard?

A: 1. They must be an extension of the coach.
2. A point guard makes your team win. (Most important stat for a point guard {Wins-Loses})
3. Understand your teammates strengths and weaknesses.
4. Play so hard that you have "the right" to get after a slacking teammate!
5.Understand your coach and his philosophy. What does he think it takes to win. Talk to him.
