BOCA RATON, FL -- Florida Atlantic University resumes Atlantic Sun Conference play Thursday, January 30, in a match-up with Samford University. The game begins at 7:00pm at FAU Gymnasium in Boca Raton, FL.

FAU enters the game 5-14 overall and 1-6 in the A-Sun. Samford is 7-11 and 3-4, respectively. Samford leads the all-time series 9-1 and has won the past seven meetings.

FAU returns home after a two-game road swing against Georgia State and Jacksonville State where the Owls were defeated in both games by a total of eight points. Earnest Crumbley leads FAU with 16.8 points per game and has averaged 20.0ppg over the past two contests. Jeff Cowans is second with a 14.3ppg average this season.

Samford has lost two straight games after starting A-Sun play 3-2. Its last outing resulted in a 66-48 setback at Troy State on January 26. Phillip Ramelli leads the team with 11.1 points per game.

Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and those 18 years and younger.
