Men's Basketball to Face Lipscomb

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University takes on Lipscomb University Monday night at FAU Gymnasium. The game will be the first between the two teams as Lipscomb is in its first season as a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. FAU (7-8, 4-4 A-Sun) will be trying to snap a three-game losing streak as it concludes a three-game homestand.

The Owls are coming off a 71-68 loss to Belmont on Saturday in which Kahleaf Watson led the team with 16 points. Jeff Cowans and Robert Williams each added 12. Mike Bell, who was held to five points in e game, continues to lead the Owls and is second in the A-Sun with 18.5 points per game.

Lipscomb, located in Nashville, TN, enters the game 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the A-Sun. The Bisons have lost three straight games with their only A-Sun win coming against Stetson on January 3 at home. Lipscomb is 0-4 on the road in conference play. Their last outing was a 68-58 loss at UCF on Saturday. James Poindexter and Brian Fisk each lead the Bisons with 11.4 points per game.

Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $7.00 for adult reserved, $5 for seniors/children reserved, and $5 for general admission.
