DeLAND, Fla. (AP) - E.J. Gordon scored 21 points, and Anthony Register had seven of his 18 in overtime to help Stetson snap an eight-game losing streak with a 91-89 overtime victory against Florida Atlantic on Sunday.

Gordon, who also had eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals, sent the game into overtime with a putback with 2.6 seconds to play.

Stetson (3-8, 1-4 Atlantic Sun) took an 87-84 with 42.4 seconds remaining in overtime on Derrick DeWitt's 3-pointer. Register added three free throws, and Gordon sank one to give the Hatters a 91-87 lead with 9 seconds to play.

Florida Atlantic (7-6, 4-2) closed to 91-89 on Wes Edwards' basket with a second to play, but didn't get another chance.

DeWitt added 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting for the Hatters, while Borislav Djordjic scored 12 and Josef McNeal 11.

Earnest Crumbley led the Owls with 22 points, followed by Robert Williams with 15 and Pierre Tucker and Mike Bell with 14 apiece.
