Hafer Named to All-Stars Team

The Northwoods League announced its 2005 All-Stars Team and Florida Atlantic University's Jordan Hafer was named to the North Division All-Stars. The junior is having a great summer playing for the Duluth Huskies.

Through the first half of the season in the wooden bat summer league, Hafer leads the team with 24 RBI, 34 hits, 19 runs scored and seven doubles. The first baseman is listed second on the team with a .291 batting average, two home runs and seven stolen bases.

The game will be held on Wednesday, July 13th in Alexandra, Minnesota. The host North Division will take on the South Division at Knute Nelson Memorial Field, home to the NWL's Alexandria Beetles.

The Northwoods League is comprised of 12 teams from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Ontario, Canada.
