BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University is the No. 4 seed in next week's Sun Belt Conference postseason tournament, drawing No. 5 seed Western Kentucky University in the Championship's opening game Wednesday, May 21 at 9 a.m. CT in Lafayette Louisiana. The Owls (29-25-1; 15-12-1 SBC) took two-of-three from WKU (29-24; 16-14 SBC) earlier this season.

No. 1 - Louisiana-Monroe (20-10, .667)
No. 2 - New Orleans (18-11, .621)
No. 3 - Troy (18-12, .600)
No. 4 - Florida Atlantic (15-12-1, .554)
No. 5 - Western Kentucky (16-14, .533)*
No. 6 - Louisiana-Lafayette (16-14, .533)*
No. 7 - South Alabama (15-15, .500)
No. 8 - Middle Tennessee (13-16, .448)

WKU and ULL both have 16-14 records, but WKU wins the tiebreaker having won 2 of 3 head-to-head games.

The host institution, Louisiana-Lafayette, reserves the right to choose its first round game time. The Cajuns chose to play at 7:30 on Wednesday night.

* If only one of the two early games is necessary on Saturday, the first game will be played at 10:00 a.m., and the Championship Game will start at 2 p.m. A thirty minute rest period will be given should the first game end after 1:30 p.m. If both "if necessary games" are played, the first game will begin at 9 a.m. and the second game will start 30 minutes after the completion of the first game. The championship game will then be played 30 minutes after the completion of the second game, but no earlier than 2 p.m.
