This week, the Florida Atlantic University baseball team will face Bethune-Cookman College four times in the final non-conference series of the year. The Owls will travel to Daytona on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. make up game before the Wildcats travel to Boca Raton for a three-game series on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

FAU (30-18, 12-15 SBC) is coming off a series win over Sun Belt Conference foe Middle Tennessee State last weekend. Robbie Widlansky improved his season batting average to .423 after he hit .533 (8-for-15) over the weekend. Mike McKenna is the second Owl to carry a batting average over .400. He stands at .408 on the year after he hit .455 against MTSU with two home runs, a double and seven RBI.

The Wildcats enter the week with a 28-22 record. Angel Mercado leads the squad with a .379 batting average, while Angel Negron has a team leading 42 RBI. On Tuesday B-CC will send Joseph Gautier to the mound. He carries a 4-2 record with a 3.23 ERA in nine starts.
