Summer (2008): Played in the Central Illinois Collegiate League (CICL) for the Springfield Sliders...helped Springfield win the CICL Championship in the team's inaugural season...fanned 34 batters in 46-plus innings...posted a 2.31 ERA...limited opponents to a .231 batting average and issued just 18 walks.

As a freshman (2008): Made two appearances in late March, both at FAU Stadium...worked 1/3 of an inning against Cornell (3/17)...pitched a scoreless inning vs. New Jersey IT (3/20)...made the travel roster for the team's late April trip to New York but did not play.

High school: Three-year letterman at Jupiter High School for head coach Doug Ferguson, playing in District 96A...totaled a 13-1 overall record in three seasons...a second team all-conference player as a senior and earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a sophomore...threw a perfect game, striking out 14 against Palm Beach Lakes his junior season...combined on a no-hitter, throwing five innings against Royal Palm Beach as a senior.

Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1989, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL...son of Tom and Laura Marcacci...grandfather played in the Yankees' minor league system.
