As a Junior ('03): Made 24 appearances in right field and 36 as the designated hitter...finished third on the team with 14 doubles...picked up a season-high four RBI against Bethune-Cookman after hitting his first home run of the season...he added a season-high four hits in five plate appearances against Siena...finished the year with six multiple hit and 12 multiple RBI games...at the A-Sun Tournament he was second on the team with a .429 batting average and finished with a .714 slugging percentage with two doubles.

2002: Medical red-shirt at the University of Nebraska.

JUCO: Attended Butler County Community College and played for Trent Nesmith...posted a .380 average with 19 home runs and 75 RBI on his way to being named to the All-Conference, All-Regional and All-America Honorable Mention teams.

High School: Baseball was not offered at Gering High School...he played summer ball in the American Legion system...two-sport athlete: football and track.
