TUSCALOOSA, AL - Lisa Leutner finished 71st at the NCAA South Regional hosted by the University of Alabama over the weekend.

Leutner finished 11th among freshmen at the meet, completing her first 6K in 22:24.97. Friederike Feil began the race but was forced to stop halfway through the course due to injury.

"Lisa ran well and gained invaluable championship experience which will serve her well going forward," said head cross country and track coach Alex Smolka. "We will now move forward to the indoor track season.
