First-Ever A-Sun Cross Country Poll Released

The Atlantic Sun Conference released its first-ever cross country poll ranking the 11 men's and women's teams in the A-Sun. The Florida Atlantic women's team was picked fifth, while the men's team was eighth.

The three-time defending conference champion, the Belmont women's team earned seven of a possible eight first place votes. Georgia State, UCF, Campbell and FAU rounded out the top-five after each finished the 2003 season at the top of the conference.

The Belmont men's team is the two-time defending conference champion and picked up all eight first place votes. Georgia State, Campbell, UCF and Troy were the conference top-five vote getters.

FAU will run in the UF Gator Invitational on Saturday in it's second race of the season.
