Track Team Heads to Big Apple
Feb. 4, 2008 BOCA RATON, FL - A rested Florida Atlantic University track team will travel to New York City to compete in the New Balance Invitational.The athletes competing in this week's meet took last weekend off as head track coach Alex Smolka only took a few selected runners to last weekend's competition in Gainesville. The New Balance Collegiate Invitational attracts teams from up and down the eastern seaboard to New York City to compete. "This is probably the toughest meet of our indoor season", said head track coach Alex Smolka.
The New Balance Invitational will be held February 8-9 at the New York Armory.
