Nov. 16, 2005

Complete Results

GAINESVILLE, FL -- Three members of the Florida Atlantic University cross country team took part in the NCAA South Regional on Sunday.

Trisha Doyle, Linn Modin, and Amy Springer competed against the field of 171 collegiate runners.

The trio represented FAU well, with Springer and Modin posting new personal-best times.

Doyle led the way for the Owls, posting a 6k time of 22:53. If you convert it down to a 5k time, it would be her fastest of the 2005 season. Her effort earned her a 66th place finish.

Modin finished in 23:55, good enough for 119th. Springer was right behind her at 23:58 (122nd). The two beat their previous personal bests by nearly a minute each.
